Wastewater Management Report – LCA – 24-lot subdivision – Vacy NSW
This project involved a land capability assessment, site and soil assessment and the preparation of a wastewater management report to meet the standards of the Dungog Shire Council Development Assessment Framework (DAF). As the Site is bound by Paterson River to the north, the property is considered a ‘High Hazard’ site.
The Site is significantly flood impacted and contains multiple waterways, and therefore required the completion of a Cumulative Impact Assessment (CIA) to ensure the subdivision did not have an impact on the surrounding environment. Based on the assessment, secondary treatment and subsurface irrigation areas ranging from 400m2 – 690m2 was proposed for each proposed lot, based on individual lot conditions.
