Provision of expert advice in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal relating to Land Capability Assessment for a proposed residential development
This project required review and preparation of an expert opinion on three Land Capability Assessments previously undertaken for a proposed residential development on a constrained site in Victoria. The technical review identified numerous shortcomings in the Land Capability Assessments which resulted in an overambitious design being proposed for the site. Confirmatory fieldwork and soils analysis was undertaken to determine the upper limit of compliant wastewater management for the site. Evidence was presented at the VCAT hearing.
